Parrot Swing is the first drone to combine the functionality of an aircraft and
possibility of vertical take-off and landing. This is due to the unique
structure, the skeleton of which is made of polyamide characterized by
strength and at the same time low weight. The biggest elements

QUADRCOPTER MODE
In this mode, Parrot Swing is controlled like a typical multi-rotor. Mode
quadcopter allows for vertical take-off and landing. Piloting in this mode
is less dynamic and requires less attention, because the drone can stop
in the air. This flight mechanics are sure to work for learning
and in situations where high precision is needed.
It is worth mentioning that when you are in quadrocpoter mode, you can also perform
aerial selfies (so-called dronies) thanks to a VGA camera placed on the
swing bottom.
AIRPLANE MODE
Turning on airplane mode tilts the Parrot Swing drone by
what it will move forward. From the selected tilt level
will depend on the flight speed of the drone - 3-stage adjustment.
The horizontal position of the drone guarantees high speeds (up to 30 km/h) and efficient
respond to commands. A big advantage is also the lack of inverted
when the drone is rotated. The aircraft mode also allows you to perform
Swinging air evolutions such as a loop or a barrel.
